Description
Brook trout come in all colors. This one is my depiction of a picture I saw in a photo journal. Each batch will come out different since glazes mixing in wonderfully unpredicatable ways!
My father taught me to fly fish. I love to catch trout and I wanted a special gift for my dad. I used our 3D printer to print a trout shape with details. I then press it into the stoneware clay and cut out the shape.
Multiple glazes were used to create this item. Burnished gold looks great on the fins! Hand painted at Ek Creations Studio, no two are exactly alike. It is made of mid fire (cone 5) clay and uses a food safe glaze.
