While sitting on my porch with a glass of wine, I was inspired! I wanted a handy little dish to keep bugs out of my drink. So I created a curved bowl to rest on my glass between sips. I’ve been happy with the results and now you can have one too!
In order to make the right curve of the dish, I custom made my own molds to make sure it could rest on a wine glass, beer pint, mug or beverage glass. The dish keeps out wasps, flies and bees from your favorite drink.
My father taught me to fly fish. I love to catch trout and I wanted a special gift for my dad. I used our 3D printer to print a trout shape with details. I then press it into the stoneware clay and cut out the shape. Once mounted into the dish, it’s dries to keep the curve in tack.
Multiple glazes were used to create this trout dish. Burnished gold looks great on the fins! Hand painted at Ek Creations Studio, no two are exactly alike. It is made of mid fire (cone 5) clay and uses a food safe glaze.

4 inches in diameter, 1 inch in height
